Noteworthy Affordable Housing, San Francisco

The Armstrong Place is a low income housing project in a poor neighborhood of San Francisco.

The project uses color to enhance the architectural quality and incorporates family gardens to grow fruits and vegetables, and an efficient way to capture rain water to manage the storm water bio-dynamically. It can be reached by the city’s light rail system.
